Modeling as a Practice
In this course you will be introduced to the practice of Developing and Using Models, one of the science and engineering practices represented in the three dimensions of the STEELS standards. By the end of the course you will understand what science modeling is, understand the role of modeling in sensemaking, explore instructional strategies to support modeling, and view examples of student models.
