What will you learn?


You have a new English Learner (EL) in your classroom, so now what? This course covers the screening, identification, and placement of ELs along with terminologies and abbreviations used when discussing English learners. You'll explore your responsibilities as a classroom teacher, and learn about different program models and the process of monitoring and reclassifying an EL. Once you have finished this course, you will have a better understanding of how to identify, screen, and place an English Learner.
