This course empowers educators to support English learners at all proficiency levels through every tier of MTSS. Using the PLUSS framework—Pre-teaching vocabulary, Language modeling, Use of visuals, Systematic and explicit instruction, and Strategic use of native language—participants will learn how to embed effective strategies into all classrooms. The course also explores the role of true peers in fostering authentic inclusion and accelerating language growth. Practical tools and examples will help educators create responsive, equitable learning environments where multilingual learners thrive.
