What will you learn?
This course explores the key ideas in Rise and Thrive with Science: Teaching PK-5 Science and Engineering (Kober, 2023). This research text is available to read online at no cost. Participants will learn fundamental principles that should guide K-5 science curriculum development and instructional planning. Through the exploration of case studies and real-life classroom scenarios, participants will begin to envision what three dimensional learning can look like in their K-5 classrooms.
